Dead Soft wire is extremely flexible, which makes it ideal for creating flowing curves, shapes, and spirals. It is also ideal for wrapping stones. This means it can be easily unbent during application. However, if being used for components, or spacers that are needing more shape holding resilience, then the dead soft wire can be work hardened by placing on a block and striking it with a nylon hammer.
This top quality copper core, square wire is Nickel Free – EU Compliant, and is tarnish resistant due to an extremely thin veneer of plastic, giving the wire a protective peace-of-mind. It also means this wire cannot be used in soldering.
