Hematite Coloured Craft & Jewellery Wire – from Beadsmith.
Beadsmith’s Tarnish Resistant Beading, Jewellery Making & Craft wire is a high grade 100% copper core wire, with a thin non-tarnish veneer, and is now available in a rich, dark slate / grey colour, called Hematite. This colour will most definitely add to, or contrast, some of the beautiful gemstones being wrapped today.
It is Nickel Free – EU Compliant, and is great wire to work with. It comes in a great value-for-money spool, and is equal in quality to any on the market. It is very cost effective and very durable. 18g wire – a strong wire. Used for making spacers, clasps, pins etc. Anything that needs to keep its shape.
20g wire – a good wire for making earhooks, headpins, eyepins, and small clasps etc. A strong wrapping wire also.
22g wire – ideal for wire wrapping crystal or semi-precious beads, scrapbooking, paper-crafts, home craft etc.
24g wire – perfect for wire wrapping smaller items, chain, rubber stamping & delicate embellishments etc.
26g wire – ideal for wire wrapping embellishments to tiaras, wire stitching, embroidery, seed bead projects etc.
28g wire – a good wire for knitting, weaving and crochet. Also good for free-forming wrapping using small beads.
