Fireline is a pre-waxed, braided cord consisting of gel-spun polyethylene which is known as the strongest fibre: per diameter, ever created.
Fireline has an unbelievably high tensile strength and has been recommended in numerous how-to articles on beadworking.
6lb size – fine – .006″/.15mm av diam – 46mt / 50yd spools or 13mt/15yd spools – either crystal, smoke, or black – suitable for up to #12 beading needles and small holed seeds & beads.
8lb size – .007″/.17mm av diam – 46mt / 50yd spools or 13mt/15yd spools – Crystal or Black.
